Bio
Lowell was born in the Carolinas but has since lived in Texas, Pennsylvania, and as far north as Alaska. In San Antonio, TX she developed a keen appreciation for Lucas and pickle Popsicles. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and continued her education at the University of Alaska. Lowell’s appreciation of the regional differences here in the United States sparked her interest in travel abroad. Upon returning home to North Carolina, Lowell brought her experience to the Study Abroad Office in February of 2002. Lowell enjoyed her first international travel experience through the office in Ghana, West Africa. Lowell is responsible for office finances and budgets for all study abroad programs.
