Program Proposal & Renewal Deadlines
Faculty and staff who are interested in proposing a new faculty-led study abroad program should begin planning roughly a year and a half in advance of the program departure date. All new programs will be reviewed through a highly competitive proposal process.

* Deadline is the year proceeding the program start date. Example: A new Summer program running in 2028 will have their proposal application due on May 15, 2027.
Any programs making significant changes (Ex: program location, program leadership, and/or courses offered) must submit a new program proposal. If your program has not run in over a year, you must submit your application by the Proposal Deadline.
Please note: any programs that fall outside of traditional study abroad exchanges, direct enroll, or short-term group programs must be reviewed and approved by the Study Abroad Advisory Board and the Substantive Change Committee as appropriate. This includes any semester-length group programs (not exchange or direct enroll).
