The NC State Study Abroad Office is open and operating in a hybrid capacity for Fall 2021.

In-Person Office Hours

The Study Abroad Office will be open for walk-in traffic without an appointment during the following hours. Feel free to drop by to ask quick questions of one of our staff, or submit materials in person.

Mondays: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
Tuesdays: 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
Wednesdays: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Thursdays: 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Fridays: 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Zoom-In Advising Hours

The Study Abroad Office is available for Zoom-In Advising to answer general questions, by appointment only.

Monday: 3 pm – 4 pm
Wednesday: 2 pm – 3 pm

Note: Zoom-In Advising does not fulfill the Individual Advising requirement in our semester program applications.


If you have questions about a study abroad program, need additional resources about finances, would like to schedule a follow-up virtual meeting, or anything in-between, send us an email at Please allow at least 2 business days for a response.

If applying for a study abroad semester exchange program, (1) attend a Study Abroad 101, (2) start an application to your first-choice program and complete the general advising worksheet, (3) meet with an individual study abroad advisor. Appointment instructions are available through the application. Your study abroad advisor will be your primary contact through the application process.

If applying for a group program, your best contact will be the program director. Director contact information is listed on the program-specific page in our application system.

Turn-in physical documents using the secure contact-free drop box located outside of our main office door, room 315, on the third floor of Holmes Hall.
