How To Connect With Us

The NC State Study Abroad Office is open and operating in a hybrid capacity, both in-person and virtually, for the 2022-23 academic year.

Walk-In Advising Hours

Exploring study abroad opportunities? Throughout the fall and spring semesters, students can meet with a study abroad advisor in-person on a first-come-first-served basis during walk-in advising hours. No appointment is required. Walk-in advising is intended to be brief, exploratory in nature, and does not fulfill the individual advising requirement for semester/academic year study abroad applicants.

Wednesday | 1-3 pm | 315 Holmes Hall

Thursday | 1-3 pm | Global Engagement Hub in Talley 2123

  • There will be no walk-in advising on Thursday, November 17 and Thursday, November 24.
  • Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1 will be the last walk-in advising days for fall 2022. Please email study_abroad@ncsu.edu if you have questions.

Depending on your area of study or program interest, you may prefer to meet with one of our sister offices:

Do you need to meet for a study abroad advising appointment? Once you start an application for a program and complete the Study Abroad 101 requirement, you will be prompted to schedule an appointment with an advisor. Not sure which program to select? Start an application for your first choice program and if you decide to switch to an alternate program, it’s no problem! Your study abroad advisor can help.
