Orientation Schedule

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14

1:00PM – 4:00PM: Drop-In Advising, Holmes Hall Room 315

Come to the Study Abroad Office to ask any questions or to meet the staff.

6:00PM – 7:30PM: Optional Ice Cream Social and Game Night, Holmes Hall Room 104

New exchange students are invited to celebrate your arrival at NC State. Join us in continue getting to know your fellow members of the Wolfpack!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15

9:00AM – 11:00AM: Orientation Session I Riddick Hall 301

We will discuss important topics for exchange students

11:30AM – 12:30PM: Orientation Session II Riddick Hall 301

Exchange Students will hear from campus partners about important resources.

12:30PM – 1:30pm: Lunch

We will be ordering pizza for lunch. Please email saoincoming@ncsu.edu if you have any dietary restrictions.

1:30PM – 3:00PM: Campus Scavenger Hunt

Students will be broken into smaller groups to complete a photo scavenger hunt. Prizes will be given to the winning team!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 16

9:00AM – 10:00AM: Immigration Check-In Riddick Hall 301

This is a required meeting with the Office of International Services. You will receive information about your visa and immigration.

10:30AM – 12:30PM: Library and Rec Center Tours

Students will get a chance to take a guided tour of D.H. Hill Library on Main Campus and Carmichael Gym.

2:00PM – 3:00PM: Non PCOM Drop-In Hours Holmes Hall Third Floor

This session is optional for any Non PCOM students with questions regarding classes, etc.

2:00PM – 3:00PM: PCOM Orientation Nelson Hall 2210

This session is required for all undergraduate exchange students in the Poole College of Management.

3:00PM – 4:00PM: PCOM Drop-In Advising Hours Nelson Hall 2210

If you are an undergraduate student in the Poole College of Management, you can stop by to speak with a Poole Global Academic Advisor if you have any questions about your class schedule.
