Orientation Schedule

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3

1:00PM – 4:00PM: Drop-In Advising, Holmes Hall Room 315

Come to the Study Abroad Office to ask any questions or to meet the staff.

6:30PM – 8:00PM: Optional Ice Cream Social and Game Night, Holmes Hall Room 104

New exchange students are invited to celebrate your arrival at NC State. Join us in continue getting to know your fellow members of the Wolfpack!

THURSDAY, JANUARY 4

9:00AM – 11:00AM: Orientation Session I, Lampe Hall Room 434

We will discuss important topics for exchange students

11:30AM – 12:30PM: Orientation Session II, Lampe Hall Room 434

Exchange Students will hear from campus partners about important resources.

12:30PM – 1:30pm: Lunch, Lampe Hall Room 434

We will be ordering pizza for lunch. Please email saoincoming@ncsu.edu if you have any dietary restrictions.

1:30PM – 3:00PM: Campus Scavenger Hunt, Starting at Lampe Hall Room 434

Students will be broken into smaller groups to complete a photo scavenger hunt. Prizes will be given to the winning team!

FRIDAY, JANUARY 5

9:00AM – 10:00AM: Immigration Check-In, Lampe Hall Room 434

This is a required meeting with the Office of International Services. You will receive information about your visa and immigration.

10:30AM – 12:30PM: Library and Rec Center Tours, Starting at Lampe Hall Room 434

Students will get a chance to take a guided tour of D.H. Hill Library on Main Campus and Carmichael Gym.

2:00PM – 3:00PM: PCOM Orientation Nelson Hall

This session is required for all undergraduate exchange students in the Poole College of Management.

3:00PM – 5:00PM: PCOM Drop-In Advising Hours Nelson Hall

If you are an undergraduate student in the Poole College of Management, you can stop by to speak with a Poole Global Academic Advisor if you have any questions about your class schedule.
