Orientation Schedule

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13

1:00PM – 5:00PM: Drop-In Advising, Holmes Hall Room 315

Come to the Study Abroad Office to ask any questions or to meet the staff.

6:00PM – 7:30PM: Ice Cream Social, Talley Student Union Room 3285

Come meet your fellow Fall 2025 Exchange students. We will have ice cream and games.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 14

9:00AM – 11:00AM: Orientation Session I, Park Shops Room 210

This is a required meeting with the Study Abroad Office. You will receive information about your semester at NC State.

11:00AM – 12:00PM: Orientation Session II, Park Shops Room 210

This is a required meeting with the Study Abroad Office. You will receive information about your semester at NC State.

12:00PM – 1:00PM: Lunch

We will be ordering pizza for lunch. Please email saoincoming@ncsu.edu if you have any dietary restrictions.

1:00 3:00PM: Campus Scavenger Hunt

FRIDAY, AUGUST 15

9:00 10:00 AM: Immigration Check-In, Park Shops Room 210

This is a required meeting with the Office of International Services. You will receive information about your visa and immigration status.

10:30am 12:30pm: Campus Tours

3:00PM – 5:00PM: Non PCOM Drop-In Hours, Holmes Hall Third Floor

This session is optional for any Non PCOM students with questions regarding classes, etc.

3:00PM – 4:30PM: PCOM OrientationNelson Hall 2210

This session is required for all undergraduate exchange students in the Poole College of Management.

PCOM Drop-In Advising Hours Nelson Hall :

Extended drop-in advising hours will be held the first week of classes from 1-4pm in Nelson 2150. After that, drop-in hours will go back to the usual 1-3pm timeframe for the rest of the semester. If you are an undergraduate student in the Poole College of Management, you can stop by to speak with a Poole Global Academic Advisor if you have any questions about your class schedule.
