Bio

Karolin joined the Study Abroad Office in October 2025.  She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in American Studies from Johannes Gutenburg University in Mainz, Germany.  Having grown up between France and Germany, Karolin developed an early interest in cross-cultural learning and global engagement.  She has studied abroad twice in her life; first on a year-long high school exchange program in Virginia and the second time in Brazil while she was in undergrad.   After graduation, Karolin spent a year volunteering as an assistant teacher in Costa Rica.  If you come to our office in Page Hall, Karolin will be the first person you see at our front desk and she looks forward to meeting you!
