Bio

Zambuko joined the Study Abroad Office in August 2026 and is pursuing her M.A. in International Studies. She is the current graduate assistant for Group Programs.

During her undergraduate studies at NC State Zambuko studied abroad in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Mozambique in a summer internship with an NGO focused on providing resources to Tongogara Refugee Camp in Manicaland, Zimbabwe.

Zambuko lived in Mutare, Zimbabwe for almost 2 years in later childhood which prompted a deep connection with travel, global citizenship, and care for people and animals in other nations.

When not on campus, Zambuko enjoys reading, waterfall hiking, finding new music, and spending lots of time with friends and family.
