Ireland: Global Food Systems, Sustainable Agricultural Practices, and Culture Infosession

The “Ireland: Global Food Systems, Sustainable Agricultural Production, and Culture” program will give students the opportunity to acquire first–hand knowledge of livestock and crop management practices, food science and processing, and sustainable agricultural production methods in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Students will also learn about the agricultural and food trade between the U.S. and Ireland while exploring other topics such as the role agritourism plays in the program’s host nations. Throughout the two weeks abroad, students will also experience Ireland’s rich cultural heritage.
