Info Session – Cuba: History, Environment, and Culture in Havana

Discover the “Pearl of the Antilles” with NC State in this one of a kind summer program in Havana, Cuba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site! This island nation has had a complex and fascinating history, especially since the 1959 Revolution. Participants will be immersed in the environmental and socio-cultural history of Cuba, and experience first-hand the exceptional biodiversity, culture and hospitality of the island while living in Old Havana. The evolving relationship between Cuba and the US form a dynamic backdrop for this exceptional study abroad experience.
