Spring semester study abroad students have the opportunity to assist with AI's annual fashion show. Study abroad students have full access to AI's catalog of courses and studios. AI coordinates some cultural excursions for study abroad students.

The NC State European Center in Prague offers the opportunity for any student to study for a summer, semester, or year in Prague through a variety of design studios and general education courses. Special programs are offered at various times through several NC State University colleges and departments.

The University of Leeds has 33,000 students making it one of the largest universities in the UK. More than 12,000 international students from over 130 countries study in Leeds each year. The campus is a 10 minute walk to the center of the city. Leeds is the third largest city in the United Kingdom, is located on the banks of the River Aire in northern England.
It is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in the UK and was named the top city to visit by the Good Britain Guide. Leeds is a great mix of city and country because of its proximity to extensive nature and open spaces with famous national parks.
