Hong Kong Polytechnic University is located in one of the world's busiest and most culturally diverse cities. Today, Hong Kong is a vibrant cultural and economic center. Although it has suffered fallout from Asia's economic crises in the late 1990s, and has experienced rising unemployment and falling property prices, there is hope of economic recovery.
Italy: Accademia Italiana
AI's Florence campus is most popular with NC State students. AI was the first Florentine school of art, fashion, and design operating on an international level. Today, it ranks as one of the most qualified European institutes of artistic and professional training. Spring semester study abroad students have the opportunity to assist with AI's annual fashion show. Study abroad students have full access to AI's catalog of courses and studios. AI coordinates some cultural excursions for study abroad students.
NC State Prague
The NC State European Center in Prague offers the opportunity for any student to study for a summer, semester, or year in Prague through a variety of design studios and general education courses. Special programs are offered at various times through several NC State University colleges and departments.

United Kingdom: University of Leeds
Leeds is the historic hub for the country's manufacturing industry and textile trade as well as the cultural, sporting and shopping center for much of the Airedale region. The city center is a mix of modern and traditional architecture with contemporary commercial and shopping precincts standing next to Victorian and Tudor buildings.
