Why did you choose to study abroad?

I wanted to learn more about business and broaden my view of the world.

What did you learn about yourself?

I learned so much about myself – just having the chance to meet and grow close to the other people on the trip taught so much about how others see the world and certainly impacted some of my ideas.

What was one of your favorite parts of your program?

Getting to take photos and video on the Great Barrier Reef was my favorite part!

What advice do you have to future study abroad students?

Take photos so that you can remember everything later!

How did your study abroad experience prepare you for your future career?

My study abroad experience helped me to understand more in-depth how small businesses such as those we encountered in Australia run, and helped me to see how I can achieve the same thing.

Would you do it again?

Yes!! I plan to study abroad at State again in the coming years.
