Pre-Departure Orientation Series

What essentials should I pack in my carry-on? How do I use the AlertTraveler app while I’m in Jordan? What are some considerations for GLBT-identified travelers in Chile? These are just a few examples of the many questions students may have in preparing for a summer study abroad experience. Our pre-departure orientation series is designed to answer these types of questions (and more!) and to provide students with the tools and resources necessary to make informed decisions and preparations for their time abroad.

Students that attend the Summer Pre-Departure Orientation Kick-Off event on Tuesday, March 17 from 1-3 p.m. in Talley Student Union, room 3285, will be entered into a prize drawing for a $300 Student Universe international flight promotional code.

Students that attend an International Travel 101 and a Health & Safety Abroad session will be entered into a prize drawing for a $250 travel voucher from STA Travel.
