- NC State students participating on International Internships are not required to purchase but are eligible for insurance coverage through the Study Abroad Office.
- It is the responsibility of the student to contact the Study Abroad Office requesting insurance coverage. It is not the responsibility of the Study Abroad Office to contact potential students who are participating on international internships about insurance coverage.
- To enroll in insurance, students must submit the Insurance Enrollment Form to the Study Abroad Office no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of the program. Insurance payment (cash, check or money order made payable to NC State in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank; no credit cards accepted) is due at the time roster submission. Coverage dates will be based upon information on the enrollment form.
