The Study Abroad Office welcomes faculty members’ interest in developing or leading a faculty-led study abroad program. Study Abroad’s goal is to create partnerships with faculty and departments to identify and develop more opportunities for NC State students to study abroad.
With today’s dynamic and diverse student population, faculty members’ willingness to consider directing a study abroad program enables NC State to offer a broader range of study abroad options to a variety of students. Faculty-led summer short-term term programs are often a launching point for further international activities. In a very direct way, faculty directors are helping to train the globally aware leaders of tomorrow by providing transformative experiences abroad.
Although much work goes into developing and producing a successful study abroad program, faculty directors are not alone in this endeavor. The team of Study Abroad Office professionals is prepared to assist each director with program development and coordination. Interested individuals should submit the Faculty Interest Form to set up an initial meeting with a regional advisor. We look forward to working with you!
