During this interactive panel discussion students and recent graduates who are from rural communities will share their study abroad experiences. They will give insight on how their identities -specifically being from a rural communities -impacted their decision to go abroad and their experience while there. We will also discuss scholarships, financial aid, and what students can do to prepare to make the world their classroom.

1. Understand the importance of studying abroad and taking part in high impact experiences.

2. Identify various resources that can assist students in studying abroad.

3. Gain a better understanding of the experiences of fellow students’ study abroad experiences.
