Info Session – Jordan: Qasid Arabic Institute

This intensive Arabic language program in Amman, Jordan provides students with the opportunity to live and study in a region that is critical to the world stage. By participating in this program, students will significantly enhance both their Arabic language proficiency and their understanding of the human condition in the Arab World. Through nine weeks of rigorous, daily language study in Modern Standard Arabic at the prestigious Qasid Arabic Institute, cultural tours and excursions, students will learn to distinguish and identify culture-specific characteristics as they relate to ideas, values, attitudes and social structures in the Middle East.

Excursions included in the program cost include visits to prominent cultural and historical sites in Jordan, including the ancient city of Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, Mount Nebo, and Ajloun Castle. Excursions are arranged by the Qasid Arabic Institute.

Important program information will be shared at this meeting as well as a brief Q&A with students who participated in the NCSU Jordan program in Summer 2022.
