Info Session – France: Language, Culture and History in Lyon

With NCSU faculty guidance, students will take a ten-day study tour of France, including Avignon, Nimes and Paris, and end with the four-week French summer school at the Centre International des études françaises (CIEF) in Lyon, the capital of Roman Gaul and contemporary French cuisine. During the study tour, students will learn the history of France with on-site tours of significant locations. While in Lyon, students will take two hours of class in the morning and spend two hours each afternoon in area-specific workshops on location in areas of the city.
