Info Session – Belgium: International Organizations in Action in Brussels

This program provides students with an up-close view of what is arguably the most important international relationship— that between the United States and its European allies. Students will be based in Brussels, capital of the European Union, home to NATO, and hub for many non-governmental organizations, lobbying offices, and think tanks. The group will also travel on excursions to Bruges and to The Hague, home to the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. Through site visits, meetings with practitioners, and guest lectures from leading academics in the field of European studies, students will learn about the history and evolution of the European project and the contemporary challenges that face the block of 27 countries.
