Sessions will address topics that pose your greatest challenges to studying abroad – including innovative study abroad funding options; navigating across cultures; rising popularity of study abroad in emerging economies; and perceptions of racial, ethnic and religious difference abroad.
The sessions will feature study abroad alumni and professionals of diverse backgrounds, who will share their experiences getting to and through study abroad, and its impact on their lives and careers upon return to the US. Presenters from the study abroad field will also help you maneuver through the study abroad process and answer questions specific to diversity and identity abroad.
Staff from the NC State Study Abroad Office will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and provide additional information, as well.
