Kevin joined the Study Abroad Office in June 2013. He advises students and manages programs in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, and Netherlands. Additionally, Kevin also coordinates all faculty-led programs from the Colleges of Engineering, Textiles, and FYC, and oversees registration and records for the office.
Kevin has a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University (OH) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. While pursuing his Master’s degree, Kevin worked at Baldwin-Wallace College as both an advisor in the study abroad office and a hall director for the office of residence life. After completing his Master’s degree, he worked as an academic advisor at Nova Southeastern University advising MBA students in the College of Business.
A Tennessee native, Kevin’s interest in international education began when he first studied abroad in the Netherlands on a semester long ISEP exchange. As a graduate student he participated in a two month intensive Spanish language program in Alcala de Henares, Spain and further cultivated his dedication to international education. Kevin firmly believes that study abroad broadens you in ways that cannot be replicated. He is thrilled to provide guidance and support to NC State students as they continue their journey and add a new perspective to their worldview.
