Why did you choose to study abroad?

I chose to study abroad because I wanted to apply my majors in an international setting and gain hands on experience in my field abroad. I wanted to expand my knowledge, have fun, and travel!

What did you learn about yourself?

I learned to be more self-confident and believe in myself. Living abroad, I had to be less afraid to reach out to people. If I needed directions, I gained the courage to ask.

What was one of your favorite parts of your program?

My favorite part of my program was meeting so many new people! Everyone in my university abroad was very easy to talk to and I met so many life long friends I’m still in contact with.

What advice do you have to future study abroad students?

Don’t be nervous to study abroad. It seems like a daunting thing but it is the most fun time of your college career.

Would you do it again?

Yes!
