Why did you choose to study abroad?

I have been abroad in the past and I wanted to go somewhere I’ve never been before.

What did you learn about yourself?

I learned that I can handle whatever situation I am in.

What was one of your favorite parts of your program?

I enjoyed the day activities scheduled throughout the trip.

What advice do you have to future study abroad students?

Enjoy yourself, but don’t forget that you have to study and do your homework. It’s not a vacation.

How were your classes abroad different than if you would have taken them at NC State? Did you take any field trips or do anything outside of the traditional classroom?

My classes abroad were a little more relaxed, but we still had to read multiple articles. We had field trips almost every day that immersed us in the culture of Prague.

Would you do it again?
