To learn from a multicultural perspective and explore the world.
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned how much easier it is to be independent and to be extroverted when you’re in an entirely different environment.
What was one of your favorite parts of your program?
The AMAZING lifelong friends I’ve made and the ability to have relationships with people who live around the world.
How did your study abroad experience prepare you for your future career?
My experience abroad gave me the ability to challenge my preconceived comfort-zone. This allowed me to become more open and willing to meet and interact with new people and experiences, a skill that should prove immensely useful in the business world.
What advice do you have to future study abroad students?
Take full advantage of your time abroad and do everything you possibly can while you’re there!

In what ways did your identity have an impact on your experience abroad?
Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community and being abroad expanded my outlook on the similarities of different people across the globe.
Is there any advice you would give to other students who share your identity?
Embrace who you are, both abroad and at home, to ensure you’re the happiest version of yourself that you can be.
