About Lauren DiCiaccio:
Lauren joined the Study Abroad Office as a Graduate Intern in August of 2011.  She attended UNC-Greensboro and received a BA in Political Science and a BA in English Literature.  She is currently working on a Masters in International Studies.

Lauren spent a semester abroad just outside of the Arctic Circle in Oulu, Finland.  Prior to this experience, the North Carolina resident never believed that one could miss the oppressive heat of a southern summer.  She also had the opportunity to backpack through Europe for several weeks and enjoyed the rich culture and new lens on life.  She is a strong advocate of the Study Abroad program and looks forward to assisting students on their journeys to new perspectives.
