About the University Universidad Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias - Lisbon, Portugal Language of Instruction: Portuguese Located in the center of the stunning capital, the largest private university in Portugal has a strong international atmosphere, with many students from Brazil and Portuguese-speaking African countries. Strong fields include communications, architecture, social sciences, economics, physical education, engineering, and psychology. A two-week intensive Portuguese pre-session language course and a Portuguese semester-long course are included in ISEP benefits. Applicants must meet one of the following language prerequisites at the time of arrival: 1) A minimum of 4 semesters of university-level Portuguese or the equivalent. 2) A combined minimum of 4 semesters of university-level Portuguese and Spanish. 3) A minimum of 5 or more semesters of university-level Spanish or the equivalent.
The Transfer Credit Database lists courses that have been previously approved for NC State students at Universidad Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias. Please note: their applicability to a specific degree program varies by department. This list is not inclusive. Additional courses can be approved for credit by using the course approval form and process, which is a part of the application for study abroad. Please refer to the academic information on the host university website for all courses available to study abroad students.
