A city of green parks and clean water, it has little industrial pollution. Once a center of heavy industry, and textile and paper manufacturing, Tampere is now a hub of the IT industries. The largest inland city in Scandinavia, Tampere offers many cultural attractions, theater, film and music festivals as well as museums, an aquarium, a dolphinarium and a planetarium.
