Credit Hour Guidelines for Study Abroad

These guidelines have been developed based on information provided by the partner institutions and by professional credential evaluation organizations. Since many of the systems involved do not use the contact-hour method of calculating credit in use at NC State, this should be taken as a guide rather than an absolute standard. Courses at different Universities in the same country are not always worth the same amount of credit.
