While at NC State, we want all incoming students to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Incoming exchange students are eligible to use the following on-campus health facilities while studying at NC State.
- Student Health Center: Services include nurse and doctor visits, routine laboratory services, and many medications. Student Health should be your first stop for any medical questions, concerns, or problems and they can refer you to off-campus medical services if necessary.
- Counseling Center: The Counseling Center provides care for all students experiencing personal, academic or vocational problems. Many services are free to currently enrolled students of North Carolina State University, including incoming students. Incoming students may utilize this resource if they have any concerns about culture shock, grief, stress, or would like to discuss any other concerns.
- Campus Police: NC State Campus Police is available to support all students. Students facing an emergency situation can call Campus Police at 919-515-3000. In addition to emergencies, Campus Police can also provide an escort for students when walking across campus late at night.
