The Study Abroad Office (SAO) at NC State University is a unit within the Office of International Affairs (OIA), which supports the University’s overall mission of being locally responsive to the needs of our community while promoting globally engaged research, education, and economic development programs that address the grand challenges of our global society.
The Study Abroad Office provides the following services to students: one-on-one advising, assistance with program selection, pre-departure preparation, financial planning, scholarship opportunities, registration and credit coordination, re-entry activities, and 24-hour emergency assistance.
